Sermorelin

Sermorelin is a peptide that works by mimicking the natural growth hormonereleasing hormone (GHRH) produced in the body. It directly stimulates the pituitary gland to increase its own production and release of growth hormone (GH) in a natural, pulsatile way. Unlike administering synthetic GH, Sermorelin supports the body's natural rhythms and feedback systems, leading to a more physiological increase in GH and IGF-1. It has a short half-life, meaning it acts q uickly and is cleared from the body relatively fast, making bedtime dosing ideal to enhance the body's natural nocturnal GH pulses. Sermorelin was historically FDAapproved for pediatric GH deficiency and is currently discussed in literature as a potentially more physiological alternative to recombinant GH for adult growth hormone support.
