GHRP-2

(Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2) GHRP-2 is a synthetic hexapeptide that acts as a potent growth hormone secretagogue. It binds to the ghrelin/ GHSR receptor to stimulate endogenous growth hormone (GH) release. Mechanism of Actio n Pituitary Stimulation: D irectly triggers GH release from somatotrophs. Hypothalamic GHRH Amplification: Enhances pulsatile GH secretion physiologically. U nlike exogenous GH, GHRP-2 preserves natural negative feedback, minimizing risks of supraphysiological GH exposure. Peak GH typically occurs 30–60 minutes post-administration.
